What styles do you enjoy doing most?

I like cutting hair the most. I love the way a client's face can completely transform just by having layers or a few inches taken off. I don't think I have a favourite style in particular, although I seem to do a lot of asymmetrical cuts.


What makes the stylist and client relationship so important?

A client/stylist relationship is much more than something that happens in the salon. It is so important to get this right because clients have to be able to trust you 100 per cent with their hair -- and sometimes their deepest secrets!


What are the pros and cons of being a celebrity stylist?

The pros are that I get to be in amazing places, travel, meet interesting people and be ahead of the trends which helps me create iconic looks for my clients. The only con is not being able to take my son with me everywhere I go, as spending a lot of time away from him can be difficult. However, I have the most amazing family who make life a lot easier for me.
