SKIP WEAVE
This is done by placing a row of wefted hair around the head, then leaving a row of the wearer's own hair to fall over that row. It is then continued up the scalp in a weave one leave one pattern, thus the term 'skip weave'. This is suitable for the lady who only wants volume and/or length or those opting for a partial weave as opposed to a full head
DEMI CONTOUR WEAVE
A demi contour weave is a partial weave which is closely fitted to the scalp muscle.Hair is first canerowed very close to the scalp in a particular pattern and because of this you can cut hair down and get short, sharp ends
PAPER FLIPS
These are very popular at the moment and are actually a form of curl in that movement from the wrist is the same. However, the bend on this is the bare minimum, take slices of hair and using ceramic straightners or a flat marcel iron, move down hair shaft and just before one gets to the end lift hair in an upward motion. This will create flips, which can be moderate, funky or choppy and is best suited to long medium or short hair that has been layered
A skip weave is styled into a partial mohawk that integrates volume with versatility. Loose pin curls added evening time glamour
The double bun pin-up is perfect for an evening of glamour, a wedding or even a dinner date. The bottom bun can be lowered for those with a longer neck or widened to slim an angular face shape
A demi contour weave has flashes of berry added for extra drama. Fine flat marcelling completed the look
Light up the party with this paper flipped choppy layered feathered bob. The skip weave again gives volume without losing shape. Hair was polished and ceramic plates used throughout
