Editor-in-chief and hot yoga novice Irene Shelley tries out the new Peek-a-boo leggings from Yoga Design Lab

Yoga Design Lab make fab yoga mats and now they’ve launched fab yoga pants. The Peek-a-Boo Leggings (£66) come in three eye-catching laser cut patterns to add functionality to your yoga/workout gear. The pants use the latest technology – see through laser cut patterns, extra soft to touch interior finish and compression technology that holds you in while you’re working out. The fabric is also moisture wicking, which keeps sweat away from skin.

Verdict: ‘I was sent  Katie, the most geometric design that resembles oversized fishnet. I’m usually a size small in leggings but I chose the medium to be on the safe side. The waist is a bit too big and it’s low, so I do have to make sure they’re not riding too low, when doing the more revealing yoga inversion poses. I do have to constantly check that I’m not giving anyone an eyeful and that’s only because it doesn’t feel like you have them on (if that makes sense). The fabric is amazing, the inside feels fleecey but they feel light and airy when you get them on. I always get compliments when I wear these. The Katie is a great pattern, but for more impact, choose Moondancer or Provocateur.’
