Hair goes on a wild artistic ride in Joico’s Afrique concept collection for 2008, as stylists explore afro hair’s natural textures and colours.

Pushing boundaries, having fun with cleverly coloured hair pieces and creating wild, striking styles was the foundation of this artistic collaboration by Joico’s International Artistic Director  Damien Carney and North American Colourist of the Year, Sue Pemberton. They have created styles with a strong editorial direction. Working with strong lines, wild texture and over-emphasised volume, this talented duo have captured the rawness and sensuality of Africa.
