All Change

Althea gets a change of image with the help of JM Products.
Althea is a busy student and wanted to experiment with different ways of wearing her hair, without cutting it.
Althea had a consultation by Anne-Marie Eastwood, hair technician and make-up artiste for JM Products (Europe). Althea's hair and scalp was in very good condition, but she explained that she had a very sensitive scalp. So, Anne-Marie advised her that they would use Isoplus Upturn Sensitive Scalp Relaxer System, which has been specifically formulated for scalp sensitivity.
Firstly, Anne-Marie applied Upturn Pre-Plus Relaxer Base, which prevents the relaxer coming into contact with the scalp. Next, she applied Upturn Conditioning Relaxer, Super Formula, because although Althea’s scalp was sensitive,
her hair is thick and strong.
Finally, Ann-Marie rinsed her hair and applied Restoring Conditioner, which helps to reconstruct and replace oils and nutrients. Once it had been rinsed out, her hair was shampooed, using a colour-coded Neutralising Shampoo, then it was rinsed free of relaxer and Upturn Me-des-nal Shampoo was applied, which detangles the hair without leaving residue. The hair was then finished with Upturn Deep Penetrating Conditioner for manageability.
Isoplus Blow Dryer Protection was used for styling, along with a small amount of Isoplus Hair and Scalp Treatment to soothe and stimulate the scalp. Ann-Marie used a heat-activated Thermal Styler to protect and style Althea's hair with curling irons. Upturn Super Hold Spritz and Isoplus Oil Sheen Spray were used to finish.
