Cantu Beauty, the leading textured hair brand is back with the 2021 Cantu Curl Awards, a national competition in which the winner will get a chance to showcase their talent in working with afro textured hair.

Launched in 2019, the Cantu Curl Awards were designed as a space to celebrate the creative talent of hair enthusiasts and hairstylists throughout the UK.

Competition prizes

The lucky winner will become a Cantu brand ambassador for a year, gain an editorial shoot, receive a £5,000 cash prize, a year’s worth of Cantu Beauty goodies and a traditional media and social media content creation training (we can hear you already internally screaming!)

And then there’s more: The second and third runners up will have a chance to win a £2,500 cash prize, 12-month paid Cantu Content Creator partnership, a year’s worth of Cantu Beauty goodies, involvement creating the look for a magazine style shoot and receive traditional media and social media content creation training.

Last year, the talented self-taught textured hairstylist Nicole Gyamufa Yalley was crowned the 2020 Cantu Curl Awards.
