L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2017 Afro Look Award finalists announced

A total of eight hairdressing salon teams have made it through the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Afro Look Award live semi-finals to reach the Grand Final of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Awards 2017 – the most prominent and prestigious hairdressing competition for colour in the UK.

Fifteen salons went head to head at the awards live semi-finals at the L’Oréal academy in Hammersmith on Monday 27th March. The 2017 judging panel consists of some of the industries elite judges including the 2015 Afro Hairdresser of the Year Charlotte Mensah, fellow winner in 2011 Junior Green, Kim Johnson the 2010 joint winner, Michelle Sultan and Craig Chapman.

The overall winner of this award will be announced as part of the glamorous and prestigious L’Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final Awards on Monday 5th June 2017, at the iconic Battersea Evolution, Battersea Park. The winner of the 9th Afro Look Award will win a ‘money can’t buy’ prize which includes a three day European trip to shoot the winning look, bespoke educational support and many PR opportunities.
