With silver and grey being the colour of choice for all the gorgeous gowns, Ciara and Jourdan Dunn went one step further and even changed their hair to compliment their silver looks.
Katie Allan, Creative Manager at Charles Worthington explains how they have both achieved this look:
‘Both Jordan Dunn and Ciara’s grey hair will be wigs. To achieve this on hair that is so dark is almost impossible, but can be done with wigs and hair pieces. I think grey hair looks better as a ombré with more natural depth at the roots merging in to lighter and more heavily toned ends.’
Grey hair has to be achieved by toning over pre lightened hair which has been lifted to a very pale yellow colour first. The longevity of this toner is very short and will wash out and fade depending on the porosity of the hair, so it will be great for clients who want it for a few washes – not so great for permanent needs.
