Why The Man Weave Is Gaining In Popularity

Guys are getting their weave on. Natasha-John Lewis from My Hair Bar tells us more

What inspired your London salon to branch out into weaves for men? I guess we wanted to be able to do as much work with men as we did with women. We saw there was a need because what we do isn’t common especially in London.

Where do you think this trend of man weave originated from?
America! I spotted it online and also saw an advert for a masterclass on installing men’s weave at a hair show so I took part.

Are guys more experimental with their hair these days?
Yes. Back in the day, the variety of male grooming products was very limited. Now there’s a lot more avaiable in the market which allows them to be more experimental.

Are man weaves here to stay?
Definitely! Even though its always been here, it should have been this prominent ages ago.
