Get Naomie Harris’ BAFTA glow

International celebrity facialist and skin care expert Michaella Bolder shares how she achieved that flawless finish for Naomie Harris at the BAFTA’s

Flashing lights on the red carpet pick up the smallest of skin imperfections however Actress Naomie Harris looked fresh faced and glowing thanks to this facial treatment prep she received at the hands of celeb facialist Michaella Bolder, hours before she stepped out. Michaella tells us how we can replicate star worthy skin at home.

Rodial Superfood Cleanser
I massaged this super hydrating creamy cleanser to remove all traces of make up and lift excess oils on the surface of the skin. If you have oily skin switch to Alpha H Balancing Cleanser.

DCL Skincare G20 Radiance Peel
These are a complete game changer for brighter, tighter skin. I used two pads over Naomie’s face & neck left alone for 15 minutes before I rinsed off with warm water. Glycolic acid works hard to lift and remove dead skin cells that form a dull flat layer on the surface of the skin. Use once a week for best results.
*Pixi Peel Pads are a more affordable alternative. You must wear SPF 30 minimum when using an acid based product.

Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Mask
Masking is an important step in your weekly skincare routine. Masks work deeper into the skin layers to cleanse and hydrate, especially Naomie’s jetlagged skin. I deeply massaged this mask into her skin for 15 minutes to energise and stimulate blood circulation, to bring fresh oxygen and nutrients to the surface. With the delicate scent of frangipani and rosehip this mask deeply nourishes and draws out any impurities without leaving the skin feeling dry.

REN Glycolactic Radiance Mask
I love the power of a mask so I generally double up in my facial routines. I chose this product for Naomie’s skin to give it extra boost and really get her skin glowing and red carpet ready. The fruit acid in this product helps to unblock pores and refine and eliminate any final dead skin cells. Note that this is not for sensitive skin. An alternative for dry or sensitive skin is Sukin Purifying Facial Mask.

Time Bomb Youth Juice Secret Oil
One of the first of its kind, this oil works hard to feed the skin and replace that youthful dewy glow. This oil naturally mimics the skins sebum leaving no oily or sticky residue. I massaged this luxurious blend of jojoba, avocado, coconut & Kukui oil into her skin, neck & chest to lift and plump the muscles and give her skin a healthy hydration boost.

Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Cream
I wanted to finish with a light moisturiser, so this was ideal it has a mix of hyaluronic acid which works to replace cushioning within the skin & papaya enzymes which works to resurface over time. This super light weight gel like cream firms, plumps, smoothes and primes the skin surface ideal for make up application. An alternative to this is Time Bomb Glory days.
