Whilst searching for a fresh alternative to traditional gallery canvases, artist Marguerite Bartherotte aka G.Kero was prompted by her bother Philippe to turn her hand to fashion. While travelling to Rio de Janeiro Philippe couldn’t find cool t-shirts to wear, until he asked his sister to draw something for him. When it got printed onto a t-shirt, the idea of G.Kero was born. Marguerite decided to use clothing to express herself. She now reworks garments into hand painted works of art, adorning clothes with parrots, beach babes, flowers and exotic scenes, which seems to be a hit with celebrities like Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne and Emily Ratajkowski who have all been seen in G.Kero.
