Hot Reds: Here’s how to steal Rihanna’s Game Day Super Bowl look

Sunday’s Super Bowl saw Rihanna return to music, announce her second pregnancy and perform an iconic halftime show!

Rihanna wowed the Super Bowl crowd with her head-to-toe red look

I bet you couldn’t miss Rihanna’s show last Sunday. What a show. What a look! Here’s how you can steal Riri’s red hot look.

Maybe “Business” is Rihanna’s second name. The singer and mom-to-be found a way to cash in on her return to the stage by promoting her beauty and make-up range – Fenty Beauty – mid-way through her performance last night, which is estimated to have been watched by a staggering 115 million people, causing searches for the brand to soar by 1150% worldwide Landys Chemist reveals.

The 2-sec product placement touch-ups that broke the internet

Fans watched as cheeky Rihanna paused and pulled out her Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Instant Setting + Blotting Powder to make a few touch-ups during her 13-minute show. Traditional ad slots at the Super Bowl can cost up to $7M for a 30-second slot, but it’s safe to say Rihanna’s genius tact for generating free product placement during the half-time show certainly got people hot for her brand!

Rihanna hit the biggest stage in the world with a classic Rihanna beauty look – flawless, soft matte skin and her iconic red lip, featuring the new Fenty Beauty Fenty Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick in The MVP, a luxe and long-lasting liquid lipstick in a universally-flattering red shade, and her go-to complexion products, Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation and the Invismatte Blotting Powder.

Lips

Rihanna debuted the brand new Fenty Beauty Fenty Icon Velvet Liquid Lipstick in The MVP

“That red stage called for the ultimate Rihanna red lip,” says Rihanna’s makeup artist Priscilla Ono (@priscillaono). “We wanted her beauty look to celebrate this moment and be a true reflection of her timeless beauty. And to me, there’s nothing more iconic to Rihanna than her soft matte skin and a bold red lip.”

Nails

Rihanna finished off the look with red nails in CND Vinylux in Devil Red (£11.95/15ml).
The manicure was created by celebrity manicurist Kimmie Kyees (@kimmiekyees).“We wanted the nails to pop so we went with CND’s Devil Red, which is the perfect true red that really complements her tone”, says Kimmie. “The longer length squared shaped tips also beautifully lengthened her hands while still staying true to the classic look.”
