Have you checked out MAC Cosmetics collab with R&B artist, dancer, choreographer, actress, model, fitness aficionado, songwriter, producer and director Teyana Taylor?
Long before her stardom, the multi-talented wildchild of R&B has always been a fan of MAC, mixing and matching colours, finishes and textures to create her own bespoke looks. So, the collaboration with MAC seemed a natural progression.
“Style, confidence and versatility as an artist are just a few of her superpowers,” says senior artist Fatima Thomas, who has worked with Taylor. “They’re translated into this collection, with lip treats for every style mood. My fave combo is Lip Pencil in Hodgepodge and Lipstick in I Got A Man, topped with Lipglass in But Ain’t Got No Manners,” she says.
The collection, housed in zingy 90’s style packaging, includes lipsticks (£17), lipglosses (£16.50), lip pencils (£15.50) and a face Mineralize Skinfinish in House of Petunia (£27). The collaboration encourages customers to create their own version of Teyana’s style rather than copy her looks. MAC Artists recommend that you take a leaf out of Teyana’s book by mixing and remixing the shades of each lipstick, lipgloss and lip pencil for custom looks.
