The D.O.R Beauty Edit Welcomes Okiki Skincare to Their Platform

Online shopping destination – The D.O.R Beauty Edit – has launched a Black-owned sustainable beauty range, Okiki Skincare on their website

Online shopping destination – The D.O.R Beauty Edit – has launched a Black-owned sustainable beauty range, Okiki skincare, this July.

Okiki Skincare offers a collection of handmade, organic products created using natural and cruelty-free ingredients —from lotions and soaps to candles and bath salts.

The D.O.R Beauty Edit is an online destination for inclusive, independent, female-led skincare and wellbeing brands. Health and beauty expert Denise Rabor founded the shop to advocate niche, independent brands.

The website currently stocks sustainable brands like Kear, Casa Mencarelli, Guava & Gold, Kiss the Moon, NAYA, Prismologie, LBB Skincare, Skin Alchemists and The Afro Skin & Hair Co, Hayo’u, Wildcrafted Organics, Arithmos, in addition to Denise’s own branded products, WOW Beauty, which covers all skincare and wellness needs, including body scrubs, face creams, cleansing oils, sunscreen and candles.

Okiki is run by a mother-daughter team who are committed to blending natural ingredients while paying homage to their rich Nigerian heritage. Okiki means ‘prestigious’ in Yoruba, and many of the products in the range are a nod to traditional recipes that their ancestors have used for generations.

Mimosa & Cardamom Soap
Nana Yaa Candle
Lolu Relaxing Bath Salts

One of Okiki Skincare’s notable achievements is its commitment to giving back to the environment. They donate £1 towards planting trees in Ghana with every large candle sale under the ‘One Tree Planted’ scheme; a non-profit organisation focused on global reforestation.

Denise Rabor, founder of The D.O.R BeautyEdit, said, “Okiki Skincare is the epitome of a D.O.R. Beauty Edit brand: I love that this is a global, mother/daughter business that fuses Nigerian and Ghanaian heritage along with British influences to create wonderful, nature-based effective products. They have become part of my wellbeing toolkit, and they will become part of yours, too!”

The following products from the Okiki range will be stocked on The D.O.R Beauty Edit:

Mimosa & Cardoman Soap (£6.50)
Black Clay and Dead Sea Mud (£6.50)
