Due to the sheerness of the lace used at the bottom of the wig, a lace front wig is more vulnerable to damage than wigs using a thicker and sturdier base. Thanks for telling us the comparison of what is positive and negative in this.
I never knew that it was normal for celebrity women to wear wigs! My friend recently burnt off a section of her hair, but finds it embarrassing to wear a wig. I think telling her this would help her feel more comfortable.
