UK-based Black female-owned haircare brand Nylah’s Naturals has won Best Afro Shampoo in the 2021 Women’s Health Awards Haircare category. Announced on November 23rd, Nylah’s Naturals Strength and Shine Thickening Shampoo was chosen as top in the category after assessment by the expert judging panel.
‘It’s a fantastic accomplishment for the whole team,’ says Kameese Davis, Founder and CEO of Nylah’s Naturals. ‘From day one, Nylah’s Naturals has strived to create the best, most nourishing, innovative and powerful haircare formula for afro-textured and curly hair. We are so excited and honoured to be recognised for our mission and the high quality of our products.’
Nylah’s Naturals Strength and Shine Thickening Shampoo is a 100% vegan formula created specifically for afro-textured and curly hair. Using three powerful key ingredients – pea protein, jojoba oil and shea butter – the shampoo lathers into a light, fluffy foam which gently cleanses the hair and scalp and restoring strength and shine. As well as the SLS-free (sodium lauryl sulfate) formula and a pH of 5.0, the shampoo helps to seal in moisture by closing the cuticle for prolonged hydration and extra protection from harsh environmental factors. To maximise the benefits, use together with Nylah’s Naturals Super Botanical’s Restorative Conditioner.
Nylah’s Naturals haircare products are available at www.nylahsnaturals.com and select Superdrug stores across the UK.
